Bu resim üzerinde iki farklı uygulama alıştırması görüyorum. İlk alıştırma, verilen cümleleri geçmiş zaman formlarını kullanarak tamamlamayı gerektiriyor. İkinci alıştırma ise, verilen tabloya göre basit geçmiş ve geçmiş zaman kiplerini kullanarak cümleleri tamamlamayı içeriyor.
PRACTICE 22.
Boşlukları doldurarak cümlelerinizi tamamlayabilirsiniz:

I always offer to help my older neighbor carry her groceries into her house every time I see her return from the store. She 'is always very grateful. Yesterday, she offered to pay me for helping her, but of course, I accept the offer.

Last year, after she graduate from college, she go to Europe with two of her friends. They travel, not by train or by car. Instead, they work slowly through each country they visited. While she be away, my wife and I worry about her safety. We be very happy when we see that she was finally safe at home, smiling face at the airport, and know that she was finally safe at home.

The bus driver looked at all the passengers on her bus and noticed how quiet they were. Some people were reading newspapers or books. Most of the people sat quietly in their seats and looked out the windows of the bus.
PRACTICE 24. Past progressive.
Verilen tabloyu kullanarak, örnek şekilde cümleler kurabilirsiniz:
- Nadia was playing soccer when she broke her glasses.
- George was seeing a bear when he scored a goal.
