Görselde, İngilizce dilinde zaman kalıplarıyla ilgili bir alıştırma sayfası var. Bu alıştırmada katılımcılar, cümlelerdeki boşlukları doğru zaman kipleriyle doldurmalıdır. - Robert didn’t answer the phone when Sara called. He was singing his favorite song in the shower and didn’t hear the phone ring.
- A: I saw a whale!
B: Really? Great! When?
A: This morning, I was walking on the beach when I heard a sudden “whoosh!” It was the spout of a huge gray whale. - A: There was a power outage in our part of town last night. (your lights, go out) Did your lights go out too?
B: Yes, they did. It was terrible! I was taking a shower when the lights went out. My wife found a flashlight and rescued me from the bathroom. We couldn’t cook dinner, so we ate sandwiches instead. I tried to read some reports by candlelight, but I couldn’t see well enough, so I went to bed and slept. How about you?
