Theme 6 Game: Word Description
- Activity: Three students take turns. Student 1 writes a word on the board. Student 2 faces away from the board. Student 3 stands opposite Student 2 and describes the word without saying it directly.
- Focus: Vocabulary recall and speaking fluency.
Theme 7 Activity: “Would You Rather…?”
- Activity: The teacher writes the sentence structure “Would you rather … or …?” on the board. Students brainstorm choice questions such as:
- Would you rather be able to talk to animals or speak all languages?
- Would you rather be able to fly or be supersonic?
- Would you rather travel to the past or travel to the future?
The classroom is split into two sections (e.g., window side for option 1, door side for option 2). Students move to the side of their choice and justify their answers.
- Focus: Functional language, grammar in context, and speaking to express preferences and opinions.
Theme 8 Game: Memory Matching
- Activity: Students prepare separate slips of paper with words and corresponding drawings. The papers are shuffled and placed face down. Players turn over two cards at a time to pair words with matching drawings until all are matched.
- Focus: Visual reading association and vocabulary reinforcement.
