This page consists of Rubric 10 titled “Participation and Engagement in Drama Work”, an assessment grid used for evaluating students’ speaking, functional language, and performance skills during drama tasks.
The rubric measures performance using seven core criteria across rating levels (Fair, Good, Great) along with a section for comments and suggestions:
- Language Use: Clarity of target grammar and vocabulary.
- Facial Expressions: Effective use of facial expressions to communicate.
- Body Language: Proper use of body language during communication.
- Coordination of Actions: Synchronizing actions with the story’s flow.
- Creativity: Displaying imaginative and creative performance.
- Engagement: Active participation and enthusiasm.
- Rapport with the Audience: Strong connection and communication with listeners.
