Example questions and answers:
- Is there a book on the teacher’s desk? — Yes, there is a book on the teacher’s desk.
- Is there a teacher in the classroom? — Yes, there is.
- Are there students in the classroom? — Yes, there are.
- Is there a bin in the classroom? — Yes, there is.
Check: Use Is there …? for one thing and Are there …? for more than one thing. Answer with Yes, there is/are.
