## **x, y, z sırasıyla 2, 5 ve 11 sayıları ile orantılıdır. 3x + 2y - z = 40 olduğuna göre, y kaçtır?**

Bu tür problemleri çözmek için, x, y, z’nin sırasıyla 2, 5 ve 11 ile orantılı olduğu bilgisi verildiğinde bu oranları değişken k ile ifade edebiliriz:

x = 2k, \quad y = 5k, \quad z = 11k

Bu ifadeleri 3x + 2y - z = 40 denklemine yerleştirirsek:

3(2k) + 2(5k) - 11k = 40

Denklemi açalım ve sadeleştirelim:

6k + 10k - 11k = 40

6k + 10k - 11k = 5k = 40

Buradan k’yı buluruz:

k = \frac{40}{5} = 8

y değişkeni 5k’ya eşit olduğu için;

y = 5k = 5 \times 8 = 40

Bu durumda y’nin değeri 40’tır.
